CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, YOUTH FITNESS SPECIALIST AND HOLISTIC HEALTH COACH
I have a life long history of promoting health and wellness. As a young student, my interest in health and fitness led me to study Biology at the University of California at San Diego, where I earned my bachelors of science degree. I decided to combine my love of biology and working with people and enter the field of education. In my 11 years at HTM I have spent 5 years working as a math/science teacher where I taught the biology of nutrition and fitness to help kids better understand their health.
I continued my wellness training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the hundreds of different dietary theories with other essential lifestyle factors such as relationships, career and physical activity. My interest in working with people in pursuit of their athletic endeavors led me to the National Academy of Sports Medicine to become a Certified Personal Trainer, I also hold a Specialization in Youth Fitness through the American Council on Exercise.
By combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts I work with the unique circumstances of my clients and students to promote health.
