Photoshop Work Time

Students used videos and notes to fill in the blanks on their worksheet. They then continue making progress on their Photoshop Skills portfolio.

Tuesday

Restorative Practices Workshop

I was out today participating in the second and final day of a workshop on Restorative Practices. Want to learn more, here is a great article from the International Institute of Restorative Practices to get you started.

Wednesday

Team Building - The 12th Project Homeless Connect

Students worked in teams of 6 to pass a marble from one place to another without touching it. They started by prototyping different approaches and testing them out in a competition to see which team could pass the most marbles.

Thursday

Short Core Workout

We started today with a 10 minute core workout, student were asked to do the first set to the best of their ability, and challenged to do the optional second set.

Building Binders and Organizing Paperwork With our remaining time students worked to organize their paperwork before working to use rivets to attach their 2-ring binder clip element to their board.

Friday

Circle Discussion

We discussed the rules to the game Pickle, which was suggested by a fellow student (thanks axel for the game)

Active Outdoor Games

We ended the week with a game of pickle, sharks and minnow and/or capture the flag.
