Monday
Computer Lab Photoshop
We returned to the computer lab to work on our Photoshop skills portfolio.
We used the worksheet below to collect information about Key Commands, as well as to develop our understanding of the more advanced approach to removing backgrounds, masking.
Tuesday
Continue in Photoshop
We continued in photoshop, adding on images to our photoshop skills portfolio.
Fitness Guild Challenge
The various fitness guilds are presented in the slides above, and represent fitness personas that students may identify with. The goal of the Fitness Guild challenge is to provide students with an opportunity to see the many facets of fitness and choose activities that they are interested in exploring so they can better understand where they fit in to the world of fitness.
My hope is that students will complete 1 activity per week.
Wednesday
Teambuilding
Because this Wednesday was a half day, only half of the 7th grade student visited today (the Gagen/Brower), and next week the Krueger/Young/Sewell team will visit.

Thursday
Fitness Assessment Round 1
In 7th grade California students complete the Fitnessgram which asks students to complete a variety of exercises to assess their level of physical fitness. We will use these same metrics to evaluate how our fitness improves over the course of the semester, by completing these exercises once each month.

Friday
Assessment Continued - Run Time
One component of the Fitnessgram is the mile run, and so in preparation we will be running as well.

Students were allowed to choose which running option worked best for them today.
