Tuesday - Emergency Leave . . . sorry

One of my horses had her baby a little bit early, and she wasn't taking too kindly too the new arrival. Every time the new baby would go in to nurse, Mom would squeal and kick her away.

The resolution:

• a little bit of bottle feeding

• a little bit of time

• a little bit of hormones and sedation from the vet

The new baby is nursing exclusively from her mom now, and doing fine. Her name is Ariel.
