In the context of book-binding, a signature refers to a section of paper. All the paper of a book are divided into several signatures and then sewn together. The number of paper in a signature varies, there might be one or more than one, depending on the thickness and size of the paper and the content of the book - each of our signatures has three pages folded in half.
Today we focused on organizing all of the signatures for our journals.
Once students finished organizing your signatures they were able to continue designing their covers.
I provided an Illustrator template for students to use in designing their covers, you can access the template here.
