Greetings 7th Grade Families!

We made it through our first week.

On our first day, the first thingI shared with students was my list of priorities, so I will share them first with you as well.

In order, my priorities are:

student safety (physical and emotional)
safety of our supplies (gear, computers, tables etc.)
students learn something

This means that until we can guarantee that everyone and everything is safe and cared for within our space, we can't even begin to think about learning all of the great content we have planned for your children. But once we know that everyone/thing is safe, the sky is the limit as to what we can achieve and where we can go from there.

With this in mind I have created a form so that you can share any important physical/medical information you feel I may need to know so that I can help to keep your child happy and safe here at HTM. This might include non-emergency medical related issues, ranging from past injuries to mild asthma.

Please look to the daily blog (http://mvasquez52.wixsite.com/pluggedungplugged) for the slideshow used in class each day. I upload these to the blog as Youtube videos for convenience, you can view these video like you would a slideshow by pressing the play button and then immediately pausing the video. To cue forward to the next slide just use the right and left arrow on your keyboard.

You won't be able to get a full picture of what goes on in class unless you are here with us, but perhaps the next best thing might be to look over this content with your child and ask them about their experiences.
